Introducing Carlos Garcia, Pacific Northwest Regional Sales Manager

from Abby Mycek

Schöck North America is pleased to introduce its newest Regional Sales Manager, Carlos Garcia. Carlos currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, with his wife and two children, and will be serving the Pacific Northwest region for Schöck.

Carlos has spent the last 15 years dedicated to the growth of the renewable energy and energy conservation industries around the globe. He dedicated five years as a sales manager working with wind, photovoltaic and backup power solutions at Xantrex Technology. Focused primarily on markets in the Americas and Asia, he had the opportunity to work on everything from remote power stations in the Artic to large commercial solar farms.

For six years, he worked as International Operations and Business Development Manager at Fortune 500 sustainability giant Schneider Electric, providing leading edge supply and demand side energy management solutions. Carlos has also worked with clean-tech startup companies to develop robust business plans that effectively introduce their sustainable products and services into emerging markets, and with residential and commercial property owners and operators to implement their sustainable energy and energy conservation projects. He is always considering the sustainable development trinity for projects (social, environmental and economic).

In his role with Schöck, Carlos is looking forward to contributing to the growth and advancement of high performance buildings in BC and the Pacific Northwest US. He is dedicated to helping Architects, Developers, Energy Modelers and Structural Engineers build healthier, more comfortable and energy efficient buildings.

In his spare time, Carlos enjoys exploring the Oceans and Mountain of the Pacific Northwest and Europe. An avid skier, snowboarder, surfer and mountain biker, Carlos enjoys sharing his passion for the great outdoors with his family.
