NY Passive House Symposiumfrom Angie Tennyson
The NY13 Symposium will take place at the City College of New York, The Bernard & Anne Spitzer School of Architecture, located at 160 Convent Ave, New York.
The symposium will be held from 9:00 am to 5:15 pm on Saturday, June 8th.
This will be the second annual New York Passive House Symposium, with a focus on Policy, Finance, and Performance.
The speakers line up includes: Dr. Berthold Kaufmann of the Passivhaus Institut, Richard Leigh of the Urban Green Council, Lois Arena of Steven Winter and Associates, along with many others. The event program include a “Pech Kucha: Seven Projects in Brief”, as well as a session on “Real Estate Developers and the Money Logic of Passive House.”
Matt Capone of Schӧck will be on hand to discuss Isokorb thermal breaks, joined by 17 other vendors of high-performance products and services.
The cost of the program is $150 ($175) at the door, which includes lunch and morning and afternoon snacks.
